Sweven Design ("Sweven," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at sweven.design (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit the Site or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. We are a multi-member LLC based in Houston, Texas, USA.

By using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Site.

Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a contact or inquiry form, email us, or otherwise reach out, we collect the information you choose to provide — typically your name, email address, company name, and any details you include about your project or message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting platform and analytics tools automatically record certain technical information when you visit. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the page that referred you, the pages you view, and the date, time, and duration of your visit. We refer to this as "log data."

Cookies and similar technologies. See the Cookies section below.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data) through the Site, and we ask that you not send it to us.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • respond to your inquiries and communicate with you about your request or project;
  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
  • understand how visitors use the Site so we can make it better (analytics);
  • send you newsletters, updates, or promotional material only if you have asked to receive them — and you can opt out at any time; and
  • comply with our legal obligations and protect our rights.

We will not send you marketing messages unless you have submitted a form or otherwise opted in.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for targeted (cross-context behavioral) advertising.

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site and our business, and only as needed for them to perform those services. These currently include:

  • Webflow — website hosting and form handling;
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — website usage analytics; and
  • Google Workspace — to receive and manage messages you send us.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Sweven, our clients, or others.

Cookies

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar technologies in the following categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Site to function and stay secure (for example, cookies set by our hosting platform). These are always active.
  • Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Site (for example, Google Analytics). We use these to improve the Site and notify you of their use through our cookie banner.
  • Marketing / advertising — we do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies.

When you first visit, we display a cookie banner to inform you that analytics cookies are in use. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, which let you block or delete them, or by using Google's analytics opt-out tools. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Site work.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • to confirm whether we process your data and to access a copy of it;
  • to correct inaccurate data;
  • to delete your data;
  • to obtain your data in a portable format;
  • to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, or profiling (note: we do none of these); and
  • to withdraw consent or object to certain processing.

Texas residents: These rights are provided under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA). If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; if we deny your appeal, you may file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General.

EU / UK / EEA residents: Our legal bases for processing are our legitimate interests (operating, securing, and improving the Site, including analytics), your consent (for marketing emails you choose to receive), and compliance with legal obligations. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hey@sweven.design. We will verify your request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law (for Texas, within 45 days, with one possible extension). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Data Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, to respond to your inquiry and maintain our business records.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Visitors

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.

Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, if the changes are material, post a prominent notice on the Site or notify you by email where appropriate.
