Personal tech blog & one man's journey learning and mastering computer science.
Michael came to us in need of a redesigned blog to serve both as his personal playground for blogging his learning journey, as well as a portfolio of sorts to use in his professional career as a developer.
He wanted the blog to greet the user with a sense of exploration, use multiple colors to bring some organization & visual interest, as well as lean into some 'steampunk' visuals in the icons. The same applies to the logo / avatar, which he also tasked us to create.
We delivered templates for the site's pages for Michael to take and plug into a static site generator of choice to actually go live and update the site when he has new content.
Colorful & 'gear-ful'.
We decided on an homage to modern, flat steampunk in the iconography with the category gears, as well as in the logo avatar design which we've appropriately dubbed - the 'steampunkey'.
This little guy is an expression of the adventurous, yet gentlemanly spirit of the owner.
The blog is clean & organized using various colors to differentiate categories and tags brings the site to life.
You can't be a professional without a responsive website nowadays. Electricjones is no different.
The Electricjones blog is now ready to go, with adventures aplenty waiting to be discovered. Check in on the site to join Michael on his journey to code with meaning!
"I would recommend their services for any organization that needs a website refresh and wants to work with creative, dedicated professionals to bring your platform to the next level."
✓ Professional, playful, meaningful.
With thanks to Michael for the partnership & adventurous spirit.
